Damayanti Buchori

Damayanti Buchori (Dami) is an evolutionary biologist, insect ecologist by training. Her work spans from teaching, research, community empowerment on sustainability issues, particularly those related to biodiversity, agriculture-conservation interphase and land use change. Her interest currently includes science-policy work. Dami is also active in many international platforms such as IPBES and was Lead Co-Chair for Task Force 4 – on T20 Indonesia. She currently holds the position as Professor of Entomology and Director of the Center for Transdisciplinary and Sustainability Sciences (CTSS), IPB University.
