Cyntha Hariadi

Cyntha Hariadi is an Indonesian poet and fiction writer whose works explore the dimensions      of womanhood, memory, and the human relationship with nature. She began her career as a journalist and copywriter before her debut poetry manuscript Ibu Mendulang Anak Berlari won the Jakarta Arts Council’s National Poetry Manuscript Competition in 2015. She later published CICA, which received the Badan Bahasa Literary Award in 2024, and the short story collection Manifesto Flora, shortlisted for the First/Second Book category of the Kusala Sastra Khatulistiwa 2018. Her fantasy novel Kokokan Mencari Arumbawangi (2021) and short story collection Mimi Lemon (2024) were both selected for Tempo Magazine’s Book of Choice. She is currently working on a travel memoir and a screenplay.
