Hamzah Muhammad, the initiator of Puisi on the Spot (2020), has been actively involved in various art and cultural activations since 2009. He works as a copywriter, translator, editor, and curator. In 2019, together with several colleagues, he co-founded Atelir Ceremai—a cross-disciplinary art collective space encompassing music, film, theater, literature, and visual arts—located in Rawamangun, East Jakarta. He currently manages Makarya Bookstore and Velodrom Press. His latest books are Seberapa Indie (Warning Books, 2025) and Aku yang Siapa Pun Kelak (Ramu, 2025).
