Kim Al Ghozali AM, born in Probolinggo, began his poetic journey in Denpasar with Jatijagat Kampung Puisi. His poetry collection Api Kata was longlisted for the Kusala Sastra Khatulistiwa Award 2016–2017. His poems were also nominated for the Litera Literary Award (2018 and 2019) and the Basabasi Young Indonesian Poets’ Choice Award (2018). His recent works include Angin Pertama (2020), Rock Alternatif di Telinga Kirimu (2020), and Setelah Deru Paku dan Palu (2025). In addition to poetry, he writes short stories and essays published across various media. He currently lives in Surabaya.
