Theresia Fransiska Tekege (born in Diyoudimi, Mapiha, Dogiyai Regency) is a journalist based in Nabire, Papua. She earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Universitas Sains dan Teknologi Jayapura (USTJ) in 2015. While at university, she was active in student organizations, regional community initiatives, and various training programs. In 2012 she joined Majalah Selangkah—a youth-run Papuan media collective operating across multiple cities—and in 2014 became a journalist at Wagadei. With her peers, she co-founded Gerakan Papua Mengajar and Komunitas Sastra Papua in Jayapura. After returning to Nabire, she has worked as a journalist at Cenderawasih Pos (2023–present) while continuing to write and contribute to literacy initiatives and efforts to raise social awareness in Papua.
