He currently works as Managing Editor of Tempo Magazine. He co-founded the Multimedia Sastra Foundation and initiated the Bengkulu International Literature Festival. The digital edition of his solo poetry collection, Kitab Alin (2020), is distributed on Google Play Store. A number of his poems are widely read, among others in poetry collection books with Graffiti Gratitude: Antologi Puisi Cyber, Buitenzorg: Bogor dalam Puisi Penyair Nusantara (2019), Kepada Tuan Dekker: Antologi Puisi Festival Seni Multatuli 2018 (2018), Ziarah Sunyi: Antologi Puisi Religi (2019), Skandal Sastra Undercover (2019), Seperti Belanda: dari Konflik Aceh ke MoU Helsinki (2020), and Jazirah Lima: Angin, Ombak, dan Gemuruh Rindu (2020). An alumnus of Gadjah Mada University’s Faculty of Philosophy and Paramadina Graduate School’s Master of Political Communication, he has written several nonfiction books, including Semiologi Roland Barthes (2001). Most recently, he experimented with artificial intelligence through Soneta untuk Ana: Senarai Puisi dan Esai Karya Robot Kecerdasan Buatan (2023).
