Kiki Sulistyo was born in Ampenan, Lombok. He writes poetry, fiction, and essays. His books have received awards from Kusala Sastra Khatulistiwa (2017), Tempo magazine (2018 and 2021), and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Indonesia (2023). In addition to writing, he runs Komunitas Akarpohon and actively develops concepts and programs for several art collectives, particularly in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.
