Ronny Agustinus is the founder and chief editor of Marjin Kiri (est. 2005), active in international networks of independent publishers, including the International Alliance of Independent Publishers and the International Union of Left Publishers (IULP). Before working in publishing and translation, he studied Fine Arts at the Jakarta Institute of the Arts. In 2000, together with five other friends, he co-founded ruangrupa, an art collective that recently made headlines around the world as the main curator of Documenta 15 (2022) in Kassel, Germany. Ronny is an aficionado of Latin American literature and the author of Macondo, Para Raksasa, dan Lain-Lain Hal Seputar Sastra Amerika Latin (2021), with one essay translated into Portuguese.
