Walid Jumblatt Abdullah is an Associate Professor in Politics at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. His research focuses on political Islam, electoral politics, and state–society relations in Southeast Asia, particularly in Singapore and Malaysia. He is the author of the bestselling book, Why Palestine: Reflections from Singapore. He is the host a political podcast, Teh Tarik with Walid, where he hosts politicians and political influencers to have discussions on the important socio-political issues of the day.
