Her work places oral traditions, lament practices, women\u2019s knowledge, and ecological memory at its center. She studied at ISI Yogyakarta and now teaches at ISBI Tanah Papua. Through exploring the sounds of Malind, Muyu, Biak, and other Papuan regions, she has developed a musical language rooted in spirituality, women\u2019s experiences, and relationships between humans, nature, and ancestors. Her practice focuses on recovering and revitalizing traditional voices through oral speech genres, customary songs, and lamentation as emotional\u2013historical archives. She composes liturgical pieces based on Papuan chant traditions, creates contemporary performance works, and engages in international collaborations, including OneBeat and the Sharjah Biennial.
