She has published several books, including <em>Dongeng Panjang Literasi Indonesia<\/em> (2018), <em>Ingatan Masa Kecil<\/em> (2022), <em>Saksi-Saksi<\/em> (2025), and <em>Monyet di Halaman Belakang Sekolahku<\/em> (2025). She currently teaches at the Vocational School of Padang State University and serves as Rights Manager at Gorga Publishing. Yona is also the founder of the Rumah Kreatif Naya and Sahabat Gorga communities.
